"Glimpse of Joy" is the title of this vibrant and passionate red original acrylic tree painting. The tree has lots of knots in the wood and is painted in shades of browns to show off the texture of the wood. The cherry blossoms are beautifully textured and are colored in shades of red and burgundy. The background is painted in beautifully complementary tones of red, grey, black and white. This work of art is created in a new technique developed by Canadian Artist Nathalie Van. The tree is sculpted and painted in a 3D detailed method which is super unique and non-repeatable. This is a one of a kind painting.

This painting measures 26" wide and 32" tall and is painted on a framed stretched canvas (with a black wooden contemporary frame) about 2" depth with very thick impasto texture. The painting comes framed in a beautiful black wooden frame and is ready to hang. I developed the medium for the tree and flower texture myself and it’s not something anyone has done as far as I know. I tried to achieve a realistic tree texture in the painting including all the knots and holes in the wood that you would find in nature. You will really want to run your fingers along the branches to feel the amazing detail! 🙂 This painting is ready to mail out.
