This is a listing to purchase a commission for a painting just like this one. A custom version of this exact painting was used in the set of a brand new tv show by CBC called 'Michael: Tuesdays and Thursdays'. It will start to air in the fall of 2011.

I am wondering how bright the red is in this painting, I’ve been having an issue finding a painting to coordinate with a beige & reddish burgundy rug and dark cherry wood floors. Eveything that I’ve found has been far too bright cherry red when I need more of a deep mahogany burgundy type red. This painting is beautiful so I’m hoping the red tones will work.

In that painting I use a deep burgundy red with tones of mahogany/wine.
