Welcome to oneofakindmosaics, the personal website of artist Nathalie Van. My original paintings are calming, emotional, simple and elegant, and passionate. With my paintings I try to bring joy to the viewer and my aim is to capture beautiful moments or feelings onto my canvas. Over my lifetime I am creating a huge one of a kind mosaic with all my artwork. My paintings come in a beautiful range of colors and textures and sizes. I use acrylic paint in my work and paint stretched canvases. All my original paintings come ready to hang. I finish the outside edges in black for a contemporary high quality look.
My original paintings on television:
With over 2900 sold paintings, I have sold to almost every part of the world. I love creating new paintings as often as I can. I love spending time in my studio creating art on an almost daily basis. In 2011 over 20 of my paintings were featured on set of Michael: Every Day (formerly called Micheal: Tuesdays and Thursdays). This exciting tv series aired on CBC television. I custom created and personalized the paintings chosen for the first season. Michael: Every Day was renewed for another season which will be airing in 2016. My artwork was also used as a backdrop to a cooking seminar by the popular TV Chef Martin Yan. In his autograph to me in his cook books he wrote, “You are truly talented, a master of your craft”. I am so proud of this compliment coming from such an amazing culinary expert.
Personalized Artwork:
One of the most popular requests made of me is a personal consultation as to which one of my original paintings would fit best into a certain space. Many customers email images of their home and get help in visualizing different art pieces. I then photo edit a few different paintings into the pictures of your home with this service. This service is provided free along with the purchase of an art piece. Currently there is a 1-2 week waiting list to have a custom personalized original painting created for you. I love pulling together different design elements such as accent colors and furniture styles. I value all considerations you may have to create the perfect wall art for YOUR home.
